Yale and Stanford were generously delivered right at 9pm as scheduled. (I sort of feel like I am announcing a birth!) After arriving, they spent about three hours running 100 mph around the apartment. I am not sure if they felt scared out of their mind or if they thought they had hit the cat jackpot. We expected a terrible night, but about 12:30am they ran out of steam and crashed in bed between us and slept until a little after 6am. One week later, every day has been more exploring and running and roughhousing - for some reason they think our apartment is one major playground. And then every night they snuggle in with us again. They are back to tearing around again, but they are absolutely precious and I now know we are the ones who have hit the cat jackpot. Thank you Stockholms Katthem for bringing such joy into our lives, though it has been hard being productive since they have arrived! And we have kept their names which were too close to home to begin with.
