Here is Violetta. I have been in my new house with my sister Dora for a bit more than one year and a half.
We are very happy there, I made a lot of progress.
I love to lie down and sleep in the sun and I'm very at ease now. I also love to look at the birds and squirrels through the windows. My parents are still a bit frightening but I like their presence. When they eat I loose my fear and if they have something really good to give me I become fearless and eat in the hand; I'm very gourmand, I like to eat a lot of things
My sister is a bit crazy! :) she only love cat food and cat goodies. She follows me everywhere and need to check everything that I do, sometimes it is a bit annoying but I have a strong character and I tell her if I'm not happy. However, I like her a lot and never hurt her. We like to play a lot and I also love to lick her.
Sometimes she tries to lick me too but I don't like it so much so it always finishes in fight!
I still don't want to be touched but I like to lay in the living room not to far to my family. Dora speaks a lot, she always have something to say and love to lie down and roll on the floor and get a lot of cuddles. I don't like that so much I think it is weird, so I go a bit further. But I know they will not hurt me so I'm confident to stay laying close to them.
Sometimes, I speak too even if it sounds more like a toad than a cat, I don't speak very well the human/cat langage but I'm learning with my sister and I answer when they speak to me. Sometimes they try to touch my nose when I eat in their hand so I need to hit a bit with my paw, but I'm always gentle and never use the claws anymore.
Otherwise I love to play a lot with games, I love this game they throw at me and I try to catch (see the picture), I also have my own balls. Dora has also her own games, she prefer feathers, and she loves to hunt flies and speak to them... I told you she is a bit crazy :).
I have been very worried once, when my sister went to the veterinary, but she had nothing serious finally and I was very happy to see her back home.
My parents realised that I have a rolling skin syndrome on my back, which means that the end off my back move often alone. They think I might have a feline hyperhestesia syndrome and that could be why I don't like to be touched. I had recently a small attack where my back was annoying me and I needed to lick it all the time, I was a bit agitated but my parents calmed me by petting me with my favourite game. I don't let them do that very often but sometimes I like it.
We wanted to say hello and thanks to our friends at the katthemmet that took good care of us. I'm really happy to see that nearly all my old cat friends found a home too!
