Smidge & Gristle

Hej,

We adopted Smidge and Gristle (Now renamed "Stoffel" because Grisl means gruesome in my home language), in Sept 2024!

It took a few months for Smidge & Stoffel to get used to us, and at first they hid under our bed and only came out to eat at night, but after a few weeks, they became more trusting.

These days, we can pet and brush Smidge, she loves being brushed, and we can walk next to Stoffels and sit next to him without him running away! They love their water fountain as well, and Smidge has a particularly love for cat grass, which we always have on hand for her next to their fountain.

Stoffels likes the rolling ball of catnip that we mounted on the wall, and he can often be found licking it after sharpening his claws on the cardboard board.

We left a few boxes for them to sit in, and they both have their own favourite box, Stoffels loves the one from Tradera, and Smidge likes Apotea boxes in particular.

Each morning and evening they get wet food, and they can graze on dry pellets throughout the day. Every morning they also get a plate of laktos-fri milk for breakfast as well to ensure they stay happy!

Smidge and Stoffel's favourite spot is on the cat tree overlooking the train station, especially in the morning as it gets a lot of sun. They also love their "cat games" on the tv, we make sure to play cat games tv for them at least twice a day, they line up and watch/interact with great interest!

Recently, we bought a bird feeder that we'll mount on there window just outside of their cat tree - we look forward to them watching the birds in spring!

Kind regards, Smidge, Stoffels, Alice and Ramiar! 😸😸😸😸
